About CareQualityScore
Picking a nursing home or a hospital for someone you love is hard enough without digging through government databases. CareQualityScore takes the official Medicare quality data for nursing homes, hospitals, home health agencies, hospices and dialysis centers and puts it on simple pages you can search by city or ZIP code.
What you'll find here
- A page for every Medicare-certified facility with its star ratings, inspection results, staffing, fines and patient survey scores.
- State and national averages next to each number, so you can tell whether it's good or bad.
- Rankings and plain-English guides to help you make sense of it all.
What we don't do
- Facilities can't pay to be listed, rank higher or have information removed.
- We don't give medical advice or make referrals, and we aren't connected to CMS, Medicare or any facility.
- We don't post anonymous reviews, so nobody can stuff the ratings.
How the site is paid for
CareQualityScore is free and supported by ads. Advertisers have no say over ratings or content, and ads are always labeled.
